When it Rains, It Pours
Planning a wedding often takes up lot of time, not to mention effort in the part of the couple. When you arrive at the wedding day itself and nothing goes according to plan, it can be terribly frustrating. This is especially true if you plan a garden wedding; have everything set up and ready to go. You have the beautiful chairs with the colorful seat covers arranged in the lawn. The gorgeous flower decor as well as the elegant vintage scroll table runner at the actual wedding table off to the far right. It’s all prepared for the festivities after the wedding. Of course, the bride and couple are beaming, being at their best behavior. Then the unexpected happens, dark clouds begin to gather and before you know it, it’s raining quite badly.
Now, ideally, any couple would have a backup plan just in case the weather decides to not cooperate with their wedding plans. However, some are caught completely by surprise and end up either postponing their wedding or looking for an alternative venue right then and there. There are those that are pretty much well-rounded and simply roll with the punches. If it rains, then they look at it as a blessing and simply make the most of it. Pretty much, it would be best to simply have a backup plan in case it does rain on your wedding. Have umbrellas ready, even if it looks like it’s never going to rain. If you are having the reception outdoors as well, then always have tents or at least open tents where people can seek shade or protection from a slight drizzle.
