Apparently, this same trend goes for engagement rings. Maybe it’s because of the recession or maybe because people are now more aware that making such a statement — such as “We’re getting married” or “We’re engaged” — doesn’t need to be flashy.
Well, personally, I’ve always liked subtle jewelry than anything. Though big jewelry also have a place in my wardrobe, except that I don’t have to wear this for weddings. Maybe if I’m off to a big fiesta celebration of some sorts, big jewelry would be appropriate. But for weddings, the simple it is, the better it looks.
