I wasn’t part of the bridal entourage of a friend of mine but just the same she sent me this Personalized Contemporary Silver Plated Key Chain with Oval Tag the other day as a token. I helped pick out some of the songs they will be using at the wedding and I’m very glad that she and her husband to be actually liked my choices.

In many bridal forums I visit, choosing the wedding song seems to be a very popular dilemma among brides. They all want it to be perfect, coordinated and meaningful. It helps that I know the couple quite well so it was easier for me to make suggestions and to send them music samples. But if you’re having a difficult time choosing your wedding song, take note of these following tips:

  • Find a wedding song list and see if you like some of the choices in there. There are plenty of online wedding sites that have a selection of well-loved wedding songs.
  • Assess what you really like. Some wedding songs need not be extra mushy or romantic. You can pick your favorite song as a couple and then find a different version of it, or have the band re-arrange a version to which you both can lovingly dance to as your first dance.
  • Consider the message of the song and pick one that with a message that you can actually relate to.

Pick out hundreds and then narrow down your choices. It should really be easy once you already have an idea of what sound you should have at your wedding.
