If there’s one thing not that many people pay attention to whenever they attend a wedding, it’s the table setting. Personally, I love to notice these little things because I know that the couple also somehow had a say in how it’s going to look like. For instance, when I attended a wedding one time, I noticed how the couple used satin finish flutes as they exchanged their toasts. The guests had a similar looking glass as well. I thought it looked very elegant and perfect for the occasion as well.
There are times when couples overlook the fact that sometimes, the guests only interaction with them would be from far away. The groom and bride are so busy with the celebration that it’s often tough to personally greet and talk to every single one of the guests on the big day itself. Hence, the wedding decor and the table arrangement can, in some way, reflect the couples emphasis on the guests. I’ve been in weddings where the table arrangement was just so haphazard that it would have passed as dinner in a fast food restaurant. On the other hand, I’ve seen wedding table arrangement that was purely a feast for the eyes on the diner. It felt as if each diner was welcome and took a seat in front of a lavish and gorgeous feast. Sometimes, it’s the little things that matter to some guests, so if you are planning for your wedding, don’t ignore the table setting.
